DIR TRAINING AND RESOURCES

Welcome to the Dental Implant Registry (DIR) Training and Resources page. Here you will find instructional videos on how to use the core features of the DIR app and have access to practice resources. You can also book an online training session should you require extra assistance for participating in the DIR.

HOW TO IMPLEMENT THE DIR IN YOUR PRACTICE

Patient Awareness - The Patient Information Sheet (PIS)

Our Ethics Protocol requires that all patients are made aware of their participation in the DIR via a "Patient Information Sheet (PIS)" - The PIS must be provided to patients prior to treatment via email or printed out and supplied. The DIR is an "Opt-Out" registry and Patients can Opt-Out at anytime by contacting the DIR

Patient Registrations

Registrations in the DIR can registered into the application either during or after treatment. The application is flexible enough to cater to the workflow that best fits your practice needs. Upon the first registration of a patient, they will receive a verification link that provides them with access to their own DIR profile where they can log in and download their registrations 24/7

Retrospective Registrations

Retrospective DIR registrations let your practice offer a valuable service to past patients—acknowledging their loyalty by securely recording their implant history, even years later. It’s a simple way to reinforce trust while enhancing long-term care. At the same time, capturing historical cases strengthens your practice’s data, improves continuity of care, and creates a more organised foundation for managing all implant treatments moving forward. Simply send the PIS form to past patients via your PMS or CRM and you can begin registering them on the DIR
