Dental Implant Registry

Dr Steven Soukoulis presented at SICON 2026, showcasing how real-world data from the Dental Implant Registry (DIR) is transforming implant dentistry. Using his own registry data, he demonstrated how clinicians can move beyond anecdotal decision-making to a more structured, data-driven approach, improving treatment planning, predictability, and patient outcomes.

At ANZAOMS 2025, the Dental Implant Registry unveiled its earliest national implant insights. Dr Steve Soukoulis shared real-world data revealing how, where and why implants are being placed across ANZ—signalling a major step forward in transparency and research.

The Dental Implant Registry (DIR) has been formally approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) to operate as an Opt-Out Registry.
