WHAT IS THE DIR?

The Dental Implant Registry (DIR) is a FREE online registry for dental practices to use that allows for quick recording of dental implant and abutment components, helping users meet current Australian / New Zealand regulatory and record keeping requirements

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Presenting Implant.png

The DIR is easy to use and integrate into your current practice workflows. Your practice can either use our online application to register your patients implant/abutment info OR you can send the relevant information to our team privately and securely and we'll do the registration on your behalf - Whatever works best for you!

WHO SHOULD USE THE DIR?

As per current ADA, AHPRA and TGA regulations, if your practice places dental implants and/OR restores dental abutments, you are legally obligated to be recording the component information. By utilising the DIR, you can ensure you are meeting these regulations with one simple process. Some implants even require mandatory Patient Implant Cards (PICs), which the DIR can replace for free!

MINIMISE YOUR LEGAL RISKS!

While your dental practice may currently keep accurate patient records, those records are only kept in-house. The point of difference of the DIR is that we are a secure centralised database accessible by patients and treating clinicians. Utilising the DIR ensures; legacy of patient data (beyond the mandatory 7 years), minimised legal risks if records are lost or destroyed and

eliminating future requests for patient information.
